I visit the SparkPeople page daily, posting my workouts. Still having difficulty with the eating part (I like to eat all of the stuff that isn't good for me) but I like seeing all of the Sparkfitness points piling up when I add my workouts. I'm doing OK, but not as well as I want.
I tried SparkPeople a while back, and I think it was too confusing for me. I used FitDay.com for a while, but like most of my attempts at fitness, I stopped keeping track. I'd come back to it every few months and every time I'd log in, I re-enter my current weight see that my weight would go up and up over the years. Very depressing. :P
This past October, however, I just decided to stop eating for pleasure. I'm not going to lie and say it's been painless, but I no longer chase the flavor of good food. It's hard (and annoying) when getting together with family and friends having to explain to them why you won't eat just a little bit of such and such, but I imagine you have to be willing to sacrifice in order to get the results you want.

How has your quest for fitness been going?
Well Harold,
I visit the SparkPeople page daily, posting my workouts. Still having difficulty with the eating part (I like to eat all of the stuff that isn't good for me) but I like seeing all of the Sparkfitness points piling up when I add my workouts. I'm doing OK, but not as well as I want.
Thanks for asking though...have a great day.

Keep fighting the good fight. You can do it.
