Things That Make Me Go HMMMMMMM

Michael Vick

I have to say that I am disappointed in the people in this country. Michael Vick has been charged, and I guess guilty until proven Innocent is the norm in the United States. PETA and the ASPCA can't be so bored that they would try to ruin Michael Vick before they know if he's actually guilty or not.

It's amazing that these people are actually boycotting the NFL, and the Falcons and trying to force them to suspend Michael Vick just because someone he trusted has turned on him.

I guess it never occurred to these people that maybe Vick found out what was going on and told them to get out or that he wouldn't give them anymore money because of what they were doing, so they in turn decided to implicate him? Did it ever occur to any of these people that maybe he really didn't know anything about it and because he's famous once his name is mentioned, folks are obviously anxious to drag it through the mud.

It seems to me that the only thing these people can think of is how to destroy this man's life and how to use the court of public opinion to get one of the most powerful conglomerates (the NFL) to do their bidding. You need to butt out! Roger Gooddell has made it plain that he will take no crap from players so let him do his job, especially since it appears that he believes in due process and in, at least, what the law is supposed to be.

People's lives get ruined when we jump to conclusions without knowing the whole story. PETA and the ASPCA and their protesters need to go back home with their beautiful pets and give Vick his day in court. Because remember, in this great country of ours, the country whose men and women are fighting for at this very moment, innocence is presumed...not guilt. Vick is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY so don't hang him before he gets his day in court, unless you all plan to thrust us back into the days of the KKK!

I Love Baseball

OK, maybe I was a little harsh before. I love baseball...well, not all baseball. I love the D-Backs. I just wish they would win more. I love working for them too. Working for a baseball team has made me stop and take a moment to truely learn to appreciate the game more that I did. So I'm just dropping this blog to admit that I was wrong and baseball is not boring. It's not like 'football love' but 'baseball love' does at least exist now, and I'm still sick of hearing about steroids. Now their talking about golfers using steriod...give me a break.
